Tea label for Bushy

“The ’90s. The Soviet Georgian tea industry collapses. Plantations are overtaken by forest, and the camellia sinensis bushes grow into trees.

20 years later, they are found and cared for by small local farmers.

In the spring of 2023, four friends from Romania arrive there in a Honda Accord with two broken windows.

They drink tea, fall in love with it, and stuff it in the back seat.
It gets confiscated and recovered at the cost of many tears and stamps at the Black Sea border point between Georgia and Turkey.

Tea picked and carried by hand across four harrowing borders.”
